Artist Statement

With my love for clean hard edges and colors, I developed my own style of oil paintings showcasing colorful abstractions of nature and urban life. I simplify urban landscapes into geometric shapes in relation to the light source that makes shadows and reflections, and dress them with vibrant colors. I take great pride in creating depth, perspective, and balance of color saturation, temperature, and value. Also, by adding unique design components to each artwork, I construct a compelling composition. My art captures a harmonious blend of nature and city, reflecting the intricate interplay of light and shadow.
