Artist Statement
I am passionate about portraying the beauty of black women, embracing their natural hair. In early 2021, I began infusing my portraits with a vibrant and whimsical aesthetic using pastels, faux synthetic hair, liquid gold leaf, and acrylic paints. My art inspires strength, beauty, empathy, and positive change.
